Lawyer Yi Yi and Mengdie Hu were given the Banner Reading "Earn People’s Trust through Precision and Exquisiteness"

On the morning of December 25, 2018, Ms. Huang and her family presented a banner reading "Earn People’s Trust through Precision and Exquisiteness" to lawyers Yi Yi and Mengdie Hu of the Beijing Jiali Law Firm. The banner was in thanks to the lawyers’ serious and responsible work attitude, and their dedication to the client over the past two years.

The banner was received for a case involving the validity of a contract, involving Ms. Huang and her four younger siblings. Ms. Huang's parents purchased a house before their deaths and registered it to one of Ms. Huang’s sisters, the plaintiff. After their death, ‘the six brothers and sisters signed an inheritance agreement which stated that the house would be jointly inherited by the six children, with the house belonging to the plaintiff, providing the plaintiff pay the appropriate amount of money to the other five siblings. After fulfilling only part of the agreement, the plaintiff filed a lawsuit on the grounds that "there was a material misunderstanding in the agreement, "stating that the agreement had been signed under duress and requesting the agreement be invalidated.

After taking over the case, lawyers Yi Yi and Mengdie Hu quickly reviewed the details, and prepared nearly 30 cm of evidence before the trial. They strongly refuted the plaintiff's false accusations, completely overturning the plaintiff's lies and perjury. The lawyers stated all of the facts, won the support of the court, and rejected the plaintiff's claim.

Over two years and five court hearings, the case finally concluded. Ms. Huang and her family were moved by the professional and rigorous work of the lawyers Yi and Hu, and presented them the banner to express their gratitude.
